REGROW – RESTORE - RENEW

What is a Stem Cell?
Stem Cells are the building blocks of Life, they are found in the body’s organs, tissues, blood, and immune system and have the ability to regenerate into additional stem cells or differentiate into specialized cells, such as nerve or blood cells. This remarkable ability makes them invaluable in medical treatments. As we age the quantity and quality of our stem cells declines reducing our ability to repair or replace damaged or diseased cells, greatly affecting our overall health.

SAFE
Pro-athletes, weekend warriors and every day patients have been successfully treated, in fact, recent scientific advances have allowed researchers, doctors, specialists and surgeons to investigate these potentials in the regeneration of degenerated discs, healing of spinal cord injuries, helping bone growth in spinal fusion, pain management and treatment of immune disorders.  This is also a wonderful addition for use in aesthetic & reconstructive therapies.

EFFICIENT

Our goal is to replace or replenish diseased tissue through natural healing processes. Advances in medical science have evolved to induce the expression of selective growth factors, cytokines, interleukins and other peptides to further aid in healthy rejuvenation, restoration, and reconstructive therapies.

Our products are minimally manipulated human tissue allografts that possess a robust extracellular matrix, including Collagen and High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid. They are therefore excellent choices when extra cushioning, structural support and viscosity are needed. In addition to advancing the science of Regenerative Medicine, our laboratory provides industry leading products, business solutions, and education for Clinicians and patients.

The research team have successfully developed proprietary techniques, improving on previous, and sometimes outdated, industry tissue processing standards. It is the persistent drive to always find a better way that has given us the ability to achieve the Regenerative Medicine Industry’s ultimate goal: Products that are not only safe and efficacious, but also rigorously compliant.

Are Stem Cells Approved By The FDA?

In the past there has been some controversy and misunderstandings around the use of stem cells. We are in a new era of stem cells in the United States. Unfortunately, those old misunderstandings have caused some people to be confused about the use of these products in general.

Human umbilical cord and placental derived products’ proprietary tissue manufacturing processes do not alter the original relevant characteristics of the tissue, resulting in a pure, homologous product. As we strive to further the science of Regenerative Medicine, quality and safety remain paramount. While maintaining FULL oversight of the production of these innovative products, our dedicated Quality Assurance team is committed to complying with the highest regulatory standards.

We ensure all our products will meet or exceed established specifications and undergo independent sterility testing in accordance with standards set forth by the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB), and FDA requirements. Our products are (HCT/P) compliant under Section 361 of the Public Health Service Act according to 21 CFR Part 1271.10. They are regulated as a human cell and tissue product and are intended for homologous use.

No babies are harmed in this process.

How Does A Stem Cell Work?

  1. CELL FUSION – transplanted cells fuse with host mature cells to enhance repair of injured cells. Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow & Metabolism. 2009: (29); 480-485
  2. ANGIOGENESIS – formation of new blood vessels. This process involves the migration, growth, and differentiation of endothelial cells, which line the inside wall of blood vessels. The process of angiogenesis is controlled by chemical signals in the body. J Tissue Eng Regen Med 2008; 2:184-189
  3. PROLIFERATION – an increase in cell number caused by cell growth and division into two identical daughter cells. Production of cells identical to the parent is termed 'self-renewal.' Unlike other cell types, stem cells have the ability to replicate many times.
  4. NEURAL RESTORATION – enhances homeostasis by attracting support cells and delivering therapeutic proteins. Molecular & Cellular Neuroscience 1999;13:450-464
  5. MIGRATE – home to the site of pathology or injury. Therapeutic cells employ intergins to stick to the site of injury and turn on cellular and molecular repair machinery. Int. Journal of Cell Biology 2009; May 1-9.
  6. IMMUNE PRIVILEDGED - the system self-regulates to adjust immune responses to adaptive levels, tolerance reduction, reduction of transplantation and rejection complications. Blood 2005; 105:1815-1822
  7. RECRUIT – cellular stimulation is enhanced via paracrine and autocrine factors. Signaling occurs to attract endogenous stem cells. Circulation 2004; 109:1543-1549.
  8. DIFFERENTIATE – stem cells differentiate into the desired cell, releasing neurotrophic (nervous tissue) growth factors or immunomodulatory substances to promote survival of damaged neurons. Science 1999; 284: 143-147.
